We're Coming Home Tomorrow!

Well, we're coming home tomorrow. These past few days have mostly consisted of shopping (both in town and in Leeds), eating our favorite British food, and visiting our favorite British family! So since we're almost done here, I thought I'd post some random pictures from the trip that I didn't pot before. Enjoy!
With our spectacular servers for the cruise, Putu and Jason!

Pontefract

We're finally in Pontefract! And we're so excited. This is one of our favorite places in the WORLD. But right now I will catch all of you faithful followers on our past few days.

A couple days ago I posted a lot of pictures since it didn't work well on the ship. That day we were in Ajaccio, Corsica. We didn't go on an excursion by Disney that day; we just went into town and did some shopping. The weather was beautiful! Actually, the weather was amazing the entire cruise. The day before I went with my mom and my sister into Florence, Italy, where we did a little shopping. The day after Corsica we ported at Villefranche, France and had a driver that took us all around the French Riviera. We also went to Monaco, which is the 2nd smallest country in the world (behind the Vatican City)! So on this trip my family was able to visit the 2 smallest countries, which is pretty neat. The French Riviera was also gorgeous. And yesterday we had a day at sea when we could finally relax! I enjoyed watching a little bit of Aladdin on the big screen next to the pool, that's for sure.

And now we're in England to visit our family. Which means 5 more days in Europe, then it's back home to Alabama (:

Ciao

Ciao everyone!
For the past 2 days we have been in the lovely country of Italy. It is beautiful!
Yesterday we docked at Naples and started the day by hiking up Mt. Vesuvius, which was QUITE exhausting. After that we went into Sorrento and walked around and ate lunch. Then we ended our day by visiting Pompeii. We went on a long but fascinating tour, which of course I loved.

Today we went to Rome! This was the port that I had been excited about the most. It was amazing! We visited the Colosseum, we saw the Circus Maximus, and I threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain just like Lizzie McGuire! And last we went to the Vatican, which was spectacular. The statues and paintings and tapestries were gorgeous, and the Sistine Chapel was so incredible. So we technically visited 2 countries today!

Tomorrow we will dock at La Spezia, where we will visit Florence to shop and see some of Michelangelo's other works such as David. I miss all of you and hopefully I will hear from some of you soon!

All Aboard!

So my last post was in the morning so we had not been on our excursion yet, but we went on a bus tour into Mdina and Mosta, Malta. It was VERY pretty and so interesting. The country is more than 7,000 years old! And it has a lot of fascinating history involving knights and whatnot.

Today we went to Tunis, Tunisia, which is a country on the tip of Africa. It was very different than what I expected, mostly because the culture was more Arabic than what I stereotyped as "African." We went into the medina, which is where they had the markets (similar to Chinatown) and to the ruins of Carthage. Then we came back to the boat and watched the premier of Prince of Persia, which came out in the USA yesterday I believe. It was amazing by the way; everyone should go and see it.

Now we're sitting and watching Mulan before we go to sleep. We have an early start tomorrow morning to head into Naples and visit Pompeii and Vesuvius! I'm excited because I'm so Latin-y.
They just sang "I'll Make a Man Out of You" on Mulan. What a lovely note to end on!
